Chris & Brigitte — A Love Story Against the Odds

We met in February 2024 after both calling New York City home for nearly a decade, all while sharing an alarming number of mutual friends who somehow never thought to introduce us. Almost immediately we fell in love and have spent the last two and a half years reminding those friends of their spectacular oversight. Now we're getting married, and we'd be honored to celebrate with you in Brooklyn on October 17, 2026. P.S. There may be a brief, good-natured roast of the mutual friends who dropped the ball.

Q: Will transportation be provided on the day to and from the ceremony or reception venue? A: No. The ceremony venue is easily accessibly via public transportation or taxi/Uber and the reception venue is a two minute walk away. Q: How are dietary restrictions/allergies being handled?A: Vegetarian and diary fee options will be widely available. please let us know ASAP if you have a serious allergy. A: JFK, LGA and EWK are equally suitable airports for those traveling by plane. Penn Station or Grand Central are also equally convenient for those traveling by train. Q: How to get around NYC? A: Taxi/Uber are your best bet for longer distances. Walking or public transportation is also a lovely way to get around. Apple or GoogleMaps is consistently trustworthy with directions. Citibike is fun too but mindful of hectic car traffic. Q: Is the wedding kid friendly?A: Yes! Children are warmly welcomed just please give us a heads up if you intend on bringing your tiny human.
